Mepivacaine is categorized as an effective drug mainly used in the surgical room. The main work for Mepivacaine is to cause numbness in the patient's body especially on the applied part. The dosage for Mepivacaine takes a few diverse forms. In other words, just like many drugs, there is a standard dosage for pediatrics and for adults. To this end, there have been reports that up to 7 mg/kg which is equivalent to 550 mg have done quite well on particular patients, this dosage is not out rightly recommended.
