Aim for hours of reading pleasure with award-winning author Mary Connealys last book in the Sophies Daughters series. Rancher Tom Linscott cant bear to see a defenseless woman in danger. Yet his rescue efforts end up bringing trouble right to her door. Now that theyre both trapped on Mandys Mountain, can they learn to live togetheror will they die alone? The third book in the wonderful Sophie's Daughters series has romance, wit, charm and feisty characters. Connealy was born to be a writer - her novels always have some sort of surprise for readers to discover and keep their interest. (Patsy Glans RT Book Reviews ) One thing is for sure--Mary Connealy knows how to write a fast-paced and exciting Western romance! I sped through this book faster than if I was the one being chased by a group of ornery outlaws. And what a race to the finish it was!(Amber Stokes, Seasons of Humility ) If you like Sophie's Daughters or any of Mary's other historical romance series you will really enjoy this book especially since (I think) it features every character from Montana Marriages and Lassoed in Texas. Sharpshooter in Petticoats not only gives Mandy the ending she deserves but reunites all the characters we know and love in a fashion that only Mary Connealy can pull off. (Renee Chaw) I will say that this book did not end how I thought it would and I do have to say that even though all the books in this series were awesome, this was by far my favorite book in this series. There is a lot of action in this book and never ever a dull moment. I had a hard time putting it down. (Tammy Graham, Love My 2 Dogs ) This is the third book in the series Sophie's Daughters and just as good as the previous books. Right from the first page there is drama and it just keeps coming. This book has all the hallmarks of Mary's past books with the humor, drama and the bad guys everything a historical western should have. I would love to see these books made into a series or movies as they would be well worth watching. It is also good to see women portrayed as strong which is what women in the west needed to be to survive. A great read and I am sad to see the series end. (Jenny Blake, Come Meet Aus Jenny ) I will be honest I would not wait to get to this book. I enjoyed the entire series but Mandy was interesting to me from the beginning. I felt so bad for her in the 1st book and sad for her in the 2nd. Now I wanted to see her finally have her turn and the author did not disappoint. The author uses some characters from past series to aid in this book. I found myself wanting to go back and read all about them as well and I hope to here in the future. (Abbie Tireman, Abbie's Reading Corner ) I simply adored this book! It was the prefect culmination to two (three?) series! I loved how it pulled every character from each book and while keeping each true to their character made them each a part of the story. (Regina Hott, Hott Books ) Mary Connealy writes such adventurous and fun stories that suck me in from the get-go. She is so good at starting off her books with action that hooks me fast and keeps me turning the page throughout the book. This is another great book from Mary Connealy and you won't be disappointed! Well, maybe disappointed in that it is the last in this series, but I'm sure she has upcoming books that will knock our boots off!
