Jean’s Heroic Journey, Best Friends Forever! (Series Book 1 of the emotional but humorous drama novella series) Jean and Beatrice are lifelong best friends who share everything about their lives throughout the story. Their story begins when they were children during the mostly innocent 1950s, then into the hippie-ish musical 60s and 70s, continuing on into their mature adult years. Jean faces a ton of undeserved adversity that includes serious major health issues, beginning with childhood polio. Beatrice faces a ton of self-inflicted adversity, just because she is Beatrice. And also because of her very good misfortune of hooking up with her quirky, pot-smoking, praying, disabled veteran boyfriend Dean for a long road trip. A lot of love and prayers come from this imperfect couple! Everyone does their best to maintain a sense of humor through it all, but many tears are shed on their lifelong journey. This story is an inspirational narrative based on Jean's incredible true-life story. Take a chance and give this emotional rollercoaster story a try. As Dean would say, “It’s a real trip man!” “Entertaining, Interesting, Enlightening, Funny, Sad, Tearful, Humorous, Loved it, Amazed me, Wonderful, Laughed, Cried, Humbling, Going to be a Best Seller, Please publish it!” - ARC Reader’s Feedback “I read the whole book today while getting my treatment. It kept me very entertained. It was interesting reading about all that has happened to me from a different perspective. I know what I went through but I didn’t necessarily know how others felt about all of that. It is an enlightening feel-good story that brought tears to my eyes! You had a great idea of combining fact and fiction and it works well! Thank you for writing my story. I will be very proud to see it published.” – Jean “You did an amazing job writing about our sister. I think your book should make it to the best-seller list! I read a lot of books and yours is right up there with the best!” - Linnie About the Author Robert Kuhn, born in southwestern Pennsylvania, grew up in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh, PA where he still resides today.
