“Blueberry Pi” is the second book in the Mathematics One set in our Womb to BLOOM to Classroom Series . Zoey Zebra and P.B., the panda bear, invite friends to Mathematics treasure hunts. Zoey and P.B. also learn about the importance of family, friendship, and sharing. The two friends discover a treasure chest left by Zoey's grandpa. When they open the chest, it’s filled with hundreds of keys, each opening a new treasure chest. Zoey and P.B. learn about Archaeology, Mathematics, Astronomy, Art, Music, and much more. They also discover the keys to knowledge and wisdom… two very different things. The authors advocate reading to a child in utero and beyond, naming their company Womb to BLOOM to Classroom . We now know that prenatal babies can hear and react to words and sounds and that 90% of a child’s brain develops by age 5! The authors have written 60 beautifully illustrated picture books on 12 subjects. These beautifully illustrated books will teach children ages 0-8 while entertaining, educating, and inspiring them to love reading and learning. The family believes, and the research supports, reading to children fosters imagination while entertaining, educating, elevating, and inspiring them to love reading and learning. The authors believe we should saturate the minds of babies and young children with beautiful images, concepts, and ideas that connect our world. From their family to yours, enjoy reading to and with the children you love and care for each day! LOVED IT! "Blueberry Pi" Mathematics is book two in the Womb to Bloom to Classroom series, written by Ramona Palmer and her son, Kurtis. There are over fifty books in this series, covering Mathematics, Science, Zoology and more. These lovely books are illustrated by Kimmo Hellstrom. This book is beautifully illustrated. I love the cute characters, with their big curious eyes. Zoey's grandpa left her a treasure chest, with lots of keys, and a letter telling her that "the keys of knowledge and wisdom are curiosity and imagination." Obviously, Zoey possesses these keys as her and her friends go on the latest adventure. As they follow directions, they are building on skills that they have already learned. While they are working on Math skills, they are also learning the value of sharing. The book does an incredible job of taking complicated math terms and breaking them into smaller, manageable pieces for the youngest learners. In the long run, this will really help children with their math foundation, as they are learning higher math learning concepts younger than they would normally. They are learning it in a fun, interesting way, cementing the concept even further. This is a book that children will enjoy reading over and over again. There is so much going on in each page, that they will enjoy discovering new treasures each time they read the book. I would highly recommend this book to young children to about third grade. With the lovely illustrations and easy breakdown of concepts, this book will make a lovely addition to any home library, and school libraries. I wish these books had existed when my children were younger, maybe my son would not struggle so much with Math today! Cindy Davis, Reedsy International My mom and I were inspired to create a Children's Picture Book series & a Kids Mystery Hunters series. We encourage parents, grandparents, and caregivers to read to and with the children they care for and love each day. We named our company, Womb to BLOOM to Classroom . My mom read to me before I was born. My parents and I read over 100 books together, and they instilled in me a love for books, reading, and learning. From our family to yours, enjoy the journey! Zoey Zebra and her best friend, P.B., the panda bear embark on great adventures. Zoey's grandpa gifted her keys of distinct colors to unlock a treasure chest at the end of each journey. The friends ask the same question on each treasure hunt, "How did Grandpa know from Heaven?" Womb to BLOOM to Classroom presents over 50 beautifully illustrated books to entertain, inspire, and teach children on Archaeology, Literature, Mathematics, Science, and more. Each subject has five picture books in this series. Picture books help stimulate a child's Imagination. We now know that prenatal babies an hear and react to words and sounds and that 90% of a child's brain develops by the time they turn 5! Early reading skills are connected to improved creativity and higher learning proficiency. Kurtis C.R. Palmer and his mom Ramona were inspired to write a series of children's books. Ramona and Kurt, her husband of over thirty years, read to their son before his birth and beyond. They believe this instilled a love for books and learning in their son. By the age of three, Kurtis asked for books for every birthday and Christmas, and his mom, tired of dusting hundreds of books, suggested he build a couple of libraries in his own home someday. Ramona and Kurtis both have degrees in Communica
