The lifestyle of the Messenger of God holds such profound significance that God Himself directed, emphasized, and commanded its emulation: From the earliest days of Islam, Muslims paid close attention to the Prophet’s way of life, and many among them endeavored to follow it As the field of Prophetic behavioral studies took shape, it too became dominated by a formalistic lens—obscuring the inner dimensions of the Prophet’s actions and veiling the path to a principled, value-based model of living drawn from the spirit of his conduct. Thus, the very legacy that could have guided humanity toward a more harmonious and meaningful world was deprived of its true power and presence. The life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), in all its breadth, overflows with gentleness, beauty, and noble conduct. He was, in the truest sense, a mercy to all beings ; his interactions, even with enemies, deniers, and those who reviled him, were filled with compassion, forgiveness, and grace. Never did he repay evil with evil, nor did he respond with violence—even toward those who wronged him. Instead, he erased harm with goodness, softened hardened hearts with the tenderness of his manner, and lived as a source of healing and harmony. Regrettably, this wealth of grace and beauty in his behavior has not received the attention it deserves. What should have been embraced as a model for emulation appears today as a rare gem among his followers. This book, with such a perspective in mind, presents selected examples of the Prophet’s interactions across various spheres of life, offering them as the finest model for living. The books of Master Delshad Tehrani have been used in compiling these materials.
