SMALL TOOL KIT: Our wire-stripping tool was constructed to strip 1.6–3-millimeter fiber jackets and access 125-micron bare fiber without damaging the fiber within the cable. The shears cut through the tough fibers found within fiber optic cable. WIRE TOOL KIT: The 6.5-inch-long wire stripper has blades that need no adjustment and strip with precision. The 5.5-inch-long Kevlar scissors are constructed from high-carbon molybdenum and vanadium steel and have microserrated blades to prevent slippage. The wire stripper in this kit has three separate hole applications, each with different capabilities. The first hole application: 1.6–3 mm jacket strips to 600–900 µm tight buffer; 2nd hole application: 900 µm tight buffer strips to 250 µm buffer coating; 3rd hole application: 250 µm buffer coating strips down to 125 µm bare fiber. The Kevlar scissors have a cut length of 0.95" (24.13 mm).
