How to Plant the Seeds
Foxgloves can thrive in full sun and partial shade, but it depends on the summer heat. In hotter areas, they thrive more in midday and afternoon sun but will need more shade than in less-hot climates. Most places in your yard would be a good fit - just not complete and total darkness.
Caring
Foxgloves are biennials or short lived perennials, and can regrow themselves each year by dropping their seeds during blooming season. They love moist soil, so you'll need to be watering them on the regular - don't let it get too soggy or too dry. One to two thorough waterings a week should be enough to make your Candy Mountain flowers prosper.
Dropped seedlings should be spread out at least 18 inches apart, so the foxgloves have enough room to grow and blossom. Also, if you want to attract more hummingbirds to your growing garden, this is the perfect flower to attract them with.
