This medicine is used only when all the cancer drugs have been used and they have not worked. Bexarotene may also be used in the treatment of other conditions as determined by your doctor.

The Bexarotene dosage that your doctor prescribes to you may depend on your medical condition or your response to treatment. The dosage prescribed should be followed strictly so that you may get the most benefit from the drug. The drug should be taken regularly in order to gain the most effect of the drug. Bexarotene medicine is mostly taken orally. The medicine is usually taken with a meal or immediately after taking a meal. Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet.
