Cholestyramine is a powder and must be mixed with water or juice when taken. You should mix your dose with 2-6 fluid ounces of a non-carbonated beverage. Below you will find a typical dosage of cholestyramine.
- Adults: 4 g taken three times daily
- Children: 2 g, divided and taken 2-4 times daily
