    Flunisolide principally works by activating glucocorticoid receptors thereby reducing the inflammation in the nasal passage. Flunisolide intranasal spray is the most effective at controlling and treating allergic rhinitis. When used topically, the drug's effects are not immediate and you may have to wait for a couple of days before noticeable results are experienced.
