  • Gadoteridol Uses

Gadoteridol uses are for providing help to diagnose certain head and neck disorders, as well as in the spine and the brain of the central nervous system. It is an injection given prior to a Magnetic Resonance Imaging examination. An MRI scan is a special procedure that allows the doctor to look at body internals through computers and magnets (not with radiation) to create the body's pictures. Gadoteridol gives contrast enhancement of the spine, brain and its surrounding tissues to improve visualization. Gadoteridol uses are only for patients over two years and older. It is only given under the direct supervision of a physician. The doctor may also determine other Gadoteridol uses.
