MRSA is generally characterized by skin infections that start off as small red bumps. The bumps look like pimples, spider bites or boils. The treatment regimen of MRSA depends on a number of factors such as the type of infection, site of infection and the severity of the symptoms or the antibiotics that MRSA may be sensitive to. MRSA is primarily treated using a process known as Colonisation. The treatment involves screening of MRSA at the hospital.
