In most cases, it is used for treating or preventing bleeding episodes in certain patients with problems such as hemophilia A or B, acquired hemophilia, or congenital FVII deficiency. In other cases, Novoseven can also be used in treating of bleeding in surgical interventions or invasive procedures in hemophilia A or B with inhibitors. In addition, Novoseven is also used to boost patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, those on dietary supplement, kidney problems or infection of blood tissues.

    Novoseven dosage is taken differently from one person to another. Medics have verified reasons as to why the dosage varies. The primary factors being the age difference and the condition of the patient being treated. Novoseven drug should only be given by a professional healthcare. Below is the recommended dosage for Novoseven.The recommended adult dosage for:

    • Hemophilia A, 90 micrograms/kg every 2 hours
    • Hemophilia B -90 micrograms/kg every 2 hours
    • Factor VII Deficiency- 15 to 30 micrograms/kg every 4 to 6 hours
    • Pediatric - there no recommended dosage for children
