    Nulojix is used together with other drugs such as mycophenolate and corticosteroids to allow organs to function normally. Nulojix prevents organ rejection in people who have received kidney transplant. Nulojix is an immunosuppressant, it works by weakening the immune system, and thus Nulojix contribute to preventing the body from rejecting new organs transplanted in the body.

    Nulojix can also be used to reduce the toxic substances produced by the body during a transplant, it blocks the T-cell pathway to prevent these cells from getting infections during operation. Nulojix should be used efficiently in order to realize its real.

  • Nulojix Dosage

    Nulojix dosage is dependent on the individual that it is being administered to. The following dosage is an average dose and could differ among individuals. Follow your medical professional's directions for best results.

    Nulojix is administered in combination with basiliximab and corticosteroids. Corticosteroid usage should be consistent with Nulojix as indicated by clinical trial experience. Administration of higher than the recommended dose or more frequent dosing of Nulojix is not recommended. Patients do not require medication shortly before administration of Nulojix because it is intravenous infusion only. Dosage recommended for Nulojix is as bellow:

    • Day 1 of transplantation and day 5; 10 mg/kg.
    • End of week 2 and week four after transplantation; 10 mg per kg.
    • End of 8th and 12th week after transplantation; 10 mg/kg.
    • End of week 16 after transplant and every four weeks after that; 5 mg/kg.

    Nulojix is usually associated with increased risk for post-transplant in the central nerve system. Nulojix is not recommended in patients who are EBV seronegative; this may cause an adverse reaction to health. Seek emergency help if you experience signs of allergic reactions such as difficulty in breathing or swallowing, hive and with lips and tongue. Severe and fatal infections may occur during administration of Nulojix.
