During the last two Semi-Annual Sales, we found a few candles for $6.64, but those were holiday scents from the past. If you're into stocking up on candles for gifts, there's no better time to buy than Candle Day in early December.

The sale is both in-store and online because not everyone wants to fight crowds in person. In 2023, Bath & Body Works Rewards members got early access on the first day, both online, starting at 6 a.m. ET, and in-store. Some stores opened at 5 a.m. local time. Then the sale opened to non-members for the next two days. However inventory goes fast on the first day, so joining the free loyalty program is a good idea. On Candle Day, there is a virtual line to stand in. When it's your turn, you'll be redirected to the shopping site. If you close your browser or your phone sleeps, you'll still keep your place in line if cookies are enabled.
